This NIROC’s budget product. They come with a basic sand blasted finish. The carbide ball peen end is press fit and crimped in place such that it will not come out.
The first carbide blade straightening hammer Corin ever used was similar to this, At the workshop of Mastersmith Shawn McIntyre.
It will however work to straighten blades!
It is also cheap.
It can also be struck with a hammer and used like a domed chisel. People seam to like that idea.
